Hell Pizza Halloween viral ad

Yep, we’ve really gone and done it this time. Our latest viral ad for Hell Pizza has got a few backs up, and our chances of ever making it through the Pearly Gates are looking slimmer than ever. This Halloween special features everyone’s favorite Kiwi Sir Ed Hillary coming back from the dead for an all night Michael Jackson “Thriller” inspired graveyard dance party. He is joined on the crypt floor by those other recent departures the Queen Mum, and Heath “The Joker” Ledger.

Tasteless? Well obviously. But then that was the brief we got from ad agency ColensoBBDO, and if we hadn’t succeeded in getting an avalanche of complaints, and the ad being pulled from Hell’s website and YouTube after just 24 hours – but not before making onto BBC World and The New York Times – then we wouldn’t be doing our jobs properly. Sorry Ed.
